Cinq and Soug note that they bought molasses off Amazon in a 5 litre tub:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008506YNO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_25TSFbRMFQTBE and advise that it's sold as horse feed. It has a different texture than treacle. Treacle has the texture of syrup and is slow running and super sticky. Molasses was more liquid but super messy. She notes that she could draw patterns in it on my body... you couldn't do that with treacle.
Cinq did however use it to fill a white swimsuit:

Cinq and Soug further noted: Treacle is amazing for solo shooting and its stickiness works really well with
feathers for a taring and feathering. If you want to use it as a couple, molasses would be better as its not super tacky. Treacle pretty much would pull the hairs out of your skin like sugaring/waxing under friction.
Molasses is definitely warmer than
custard, maybe its the high sugar content as opposed to custard's high water content. As messy as treacle but soaks into clothes so even better.
Mix with
flour? With custard?
DungeonMasterOne notes that treacle is incredibly sticky: I certainly wouldn't recommend it for anything where you would want to be able to move / slide against each other. We've found that mixing golden syrup and custard on someone makes for a very slippery and flowing mess. Alternatively try powder
gunge dyed very dark brown or black.
We used to try watering black treacle down with warm water, but it's tricky to get the quantity right, a fraction too much water and you just get brown water, a fraction too little and it's still just insanely sticky.
Lady Jasmine finds custard gets absolutely freezing, even with the dungeon heaters on, after 10 minutes or so, but she absolutely loves the feel of black treacle and it also doesn't give the same chilling effect. A few weeks back we were about to prepare our regular Sunday afternoon fully-clothed paddling pool dungeon session, she was wearing a boilersuit over a swimsuit, plus wellies, and had me pour three cans of black treacle into her swimsuit before we went down and started the preparations, so she was getting steadily squelchier and stickier as we got things ready. But no coldness. Something with the same lack of chilling effect but not quite as sticky would be a handy substance to add to our messy options.
